About Regroup’'s visionary and founder, Dee Sanae got her start as an entrepreneur while still attending Virginia Tech, writing and promoting international music artists as well as touring the Big Apple to Emerald City and down to the Magic City. Wearing many hats compared to peers her age, she had her hands in journalism, public relations, artist branding, and devising national campaigns that impacted an atypical genre known as electronica. Dee has combined her knowledge of working in the legal field and with artist management on negotiations and contracts as an added bonus to her clients. Being part of building up artists that are now in the mainstream, Dee ascertained and witnessed the delta in the music industry for labels and artists in 2002: the digital age. Being ahead of the curve within this era, Dee found her way to consulting other independent artists, brands, start-ups within the creative scope and sharing her knowledge that spans more than a decade. This lead to the birth of her own project Regroup in 2008. Regroup’s expansion has included projects in the Nation’s Capitol that have included honorary events with USO and TAPS to disco-light paneled events to video production for behind-the-scenes footage for artists that have taken social responsibility to another level. Dee worked solely on referral basis within her network but, has quickly built a solid business acumen and reputation that is both trusted and revered.Dee lives by this Japanese proverb, "Fall seven times, Stand up eight," which has kept her strong in not only being a leader as a consultant but one that can advise her clients to REGROUP and keep going.
